TALENT BIO

Vivek is a multidisciplinary artist, an award-winning author, musician, playwright, filmmaker, and an Assistant Professor of Creative Writing at the University of Calgary. She is a Director on the Board of the Tegan and Sara Foundation which strives to improve the lives of LGBTQ+ women and girls. Vivek has been disrupting the fashion and beauty categories, starting with her cover of FASHION magazine. Then, as a lead talent in Pantene’s international Hair Has No Gender Campaign, and M.A.C’s Canadian Originals campaign. She is also a model and beauty expert in multiple leading print and digital publications and daytime television programming.
